So, what does it mean here?

This is a fork of [nchrs], which itself is a fork of [oscean], back when oscean was still an ANSI C program.
My fork has some custom features, such as a much more customizible main.c and is stripped in a couple places where I didn't need features anymore. It also includes some minor cosmetic changes, currently mostly on links.
I have also reverted back the codebase back to {C89} compatible, from C99, so that I can build it on some retro devices as a benchmark.
